Austen is an experienced project and program manager with his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Finance, where he graduated Salutatorian. Austen has also obtained a PMP accreditation from the Project Management Institute. He has ten years of experience in program and project management, cost management and estimation, engineering, due diligence and preliminary design, real estate development, and construction management / monitoring services. During his career, Austen has acted both from a general contractor and from a client perspective. Austen brings a cross-functional career experience to The Kugler Group, and welcomes the idea of collaborating and working with the best minds, the highest profile clients, and the most challenging but rewarding projects in the consulting industry. Austen's background is both unique and diverse, and shows he is comfortable in an ever-changing and variable environment; from operating excavators and pile driving equipment as a Field Engineer for a Heavy Civil Construction company, to creating and rolling out a 5-year capital investment strategy for a notable startup giant.
